I’ve thought long and hard about how I should continue with this blog. A few weeks back, due to my increasingly busy personal schedule and my own analysis of the decline in quality of my posts, I reduced my number of posts from three a week down to two. This has done little to solve my problem. I haven’t been writing because I want to write, but because I needed to. I’m afraid this has shown all to well in my posts these lasts couple of months.
So I’m making another change to my blog schedule. It’s a decision that goes against the very first thing they tell you about good blogging and it’s most likely going to torpedo my ability to maintain a consistent audience. But hopefully it will provide me with the freedom necessary to take this blog back to where I want it to be. Here is the new schedule:
There will be no schedule.
I will take my time to write these posts whenever I can. I will take as long as I need to make each and every one a solid read. I’m choosing quality over quantity and, hopefully, it result in a much better blog.
Whether this drastic change is enough to cause you to stop following this blog or not, I want to thank each and every one of you for reading. If you want to continue to read, feel free to follow me via email. You can also follow me on Twitter @RyanLikesThings. You can find both of these methods on the bar to the left.
Again, thanks for reading.
